RMGDRI Appreciation Picnic & Silent Auction

RMGDRI's annual picnic will be Saturday, July 17th. This is always a fun event, with tons of great food... info booths and vendors... contests and prizes... and a BIG silent auction to raise funds that enable RMGDRI to continue to rescue and re-home the big dogs we all love.

 

The auction is one of the Rescue's largest fundraisers of the year -- but it cannot be a success without lots of auction items that will encourage vigorous bidding.

 

Here are some suggestions, based on what has sold particularly well at past events:

• Dinners for two/restaurant gift certificates
• Hand-crafted items -- beaded jewelry, felted purses, etc.
• Artwork, especially Dane-related art
• Themed gift baskets: Margarita Party, BBQ, Tastes of Italy, Girls-Night-In Martini Party, etc.
• Experiences: Ticket to a Rockies game, movie passes, Elitch's tickets, etc.
• And of course, anything dog-related -- gift certificates for doggie daycare, toy and treat collections, etc.
