More than 60 walkers and volunteers participated in the “Great Dane in the Morning!” benefit walk for the Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue on Saturday, September 11th. While raising more than $2,100, participants commenced the fourth year of the “Great Dane in the Morning!” at Cherry Creek State Park. The money raised from this fundraiser will go directly to the Great Danes in RMGDRI's care.
“We can accomplish amazing things together,” said RMGDRI President, Laura Rubin. “While we believe that one person can make a difference in the life of a Great Dane in need, as a community-supported organization, we have the ability to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome even more Great Danes.”
