You've probably heard of petfinder.com already but if you haven't, it's an online, searchable database of animals that need homes with more than 13,000 shelters and pet adoption organizations participating. In 15 years they've had 17 million adoptions!!!!!!
In honor of petfinder.com's 15th birthday they are asking people everywhere to pledge to spread the word online about adoptable pets on March 15th. There are many ways to do it! You can tweet about it, dedicate your facebook status to the cause, pick a petfinder.com adoptable animal and post about them, add a link to your page, and more!
