Here is her report....
Just wanted to give you an update on the 12Ks of Christmas PACC 911 event yesterday in Arizona. I made packets of Volunteer applications, Foster applications, and Adoption applications each with a business card and pamphlet stapled to it. I handed out ALL 10 Volunteer applications. I would say approximately 3-4 people were genuinely interested in volunteering for events like that with your organization and 6-7 are maybes.
I made one huge poster with several 5X7 photos and corresponding bios for many of the dogs up for adoption with RMGDR.
One woman was particularly interested in Zoey yesterday and took it upon herself to take an adoption application without me asking her if she was interested. She fell in love with her photo and bio. Several people said they were interested in getting a Great Dane in the future. I gave them all adoption applications.
We had a few people say they would be willing to foster or consider fostering...some were interested in fostering to see if a Dane would be right for their family.
Thank you so much for participating and helping Great Danes in AZ. I felt like we got a really good amount of interest in the group. One man with a 4 month old Mantle Dane said he was really happy to see that you guys are finally getting a presence in Phoenix. :) I guess he is familiar with RMGDR! I stayed for the entire time rather than leaving a half hour early. It was a great event! I was pleased with the interaction and really hope to generate volunteers and fosters, and maybe even some adoptions out of it! :D
